Barn in Benesov
|
Gorgeous views over the dramatic valley of the river Jizera in the town of Benesov u Semil. A plot of land sloping southward, with a garden, shaded by mature trees, that few people can boast of. A serene 1947 barn built on a deep stone wreath. A beautiful mansard roof with a horizontal queen post truss – the ridge beam is ten meters above the ground! And how will this newly awakened house function? |
Back in the dooryard, we can enter an elongated passage with a storage cabinet, a bench, a pantry and a bathroom and then go on southward to a habitable hallway. Fire is blazing in the family hearth, filling the spacious room with warmth; a room that offers views of nearby Skuhrov, Vrchy, Stransko and Kamenec. A kitchen of generous proportions with an ancient dining room is ready to attend to the needs of even the most demanding guests; and if need be, a spare bed could surely be found here. But that would have to be on the floor above, above the room of the lord and lady of the house, their refuge containing every possible amenity. The house of Pavel and Dina Nalezeny will be beautiful. We believe that we will be able to invite you over for a visit soon. location: Benesov u Semil, Czech republic
